Ladee's yips:
Wow, what a week. Last Friday night while our daddies were at Fetch-It, there was a huge storm with alot of thunder, so of course I went and hid in the bathroom. Well then Poppa Tony and RJ got home and were in sort of a panic, when I came out to see what was going on, there was a huge flood in the basement and the water was rushing towards all of my toyboxes of toys! I got down there to start saving them while Poppa Tony and other friends from the building were saving all the other stuff, but the water was already a few inches deep. Damn my little mouth, but I could only save one toy at a time and it was so frustrating. I hate water but I kept going back in getting one at a time and carrying it upstairs. Luckily the water soon subsided and lots of our daddies friends helped clean everything up and almost nothing was damaged at all thankfully (especially my toys!).

Woofer's Thoughts:
Yeah it was pretty weird to see all of that water downstairs. I'm glad that I don't have a psycho connection to my belongings, because there was no way I was gonna make a swim for it to save a pile of squeaky nylon crap. It was very nice of our daddies friends to come over and help clean stuff up, and I know I was thankful for them as was our daddies and whole family. It was really a mess and I'm sure everyone had much better things to do on a friday night. It's cool that we have such good friends that we can count on when in a bind! Of course now I have to keep an eye out whenever I'm walking in the parks so a Hawk doesn't swoop me away (not sure if everyoe heard about the hawk grabbing the little dog this week)...I hope all our daddies friends will keep an eye on the sky for me as well!

Dylan's Comment:
It sure is great to have friends right here in our own building! I think it makes our building a real home! And, Woofer, I don't think you have to worry much...I haven't seen Hawk in Jersey City yet -- although, we could use one to scare the pigeons away!
