Everyone's been talking about this other planet that's supposed to be so great and close, but on our walks I've been looking in the sky and only see regular little dots that are always there. One might be a little brighter but nothing that excited me too much. Well that is until our Daddies brought home pictures of it that they took last night. The planet wasn't really what excited me though, it was that they took the pictures of it at the US Open! They went and saw Capriati and Agassi play again last night, i can't believe that it's already been a year since they went. The best thing though was that Poppa Tony brought me back an official US OPEN Rubber Ducky!!! For years they have brought themselves some home and set them on a shelf. I'm so exicted I have one of my own to play with, I'll take really good care of it and even though I carry him around by his face, I'll make sure not to hurt him!
It figures, not only do I not get a toy again (which is really ok, because they don't mean alot to me, and Ladee ends up with them anyhow), but I also now get to see Ladee toting this Duck around and growl anytime anyone even looks at it. As long as she's happy though, I guess it's ok...I know my daddies love me the same. I think it's really neat about Mars being so close (Ladee didn't even know it's name). I think space is really cool and I love to look at the stars, planets and moon. It would be a real shame if people stopped exploring outer space. Also I just wanted to say how sad and sorry I am that Poppa Greg's favorite Tennis Player ever retired this week. I'll play tennis with you Poppa Greg, to make you feel better about it.
What's a US Open Rubber Ducky? And what does it have to do with tennis...which is what humans do with those very cool fuzzy yellow balls! I don't know why they just don't throw them, run after them, and then bring them back, like I do! The fuzz tickles my tongue and lips a little. mmmmmmm. Now, THAT'S a great game! | |||
