Ladee's yips:
So I was looking at papers my daddy Greg came across and saw my Pedigree. I always knew that I was something special, but when I saw that I come from a long line of other Pekingese dogs, I knew that I was so terrific and special...Then I looked over at Woofer with his scraggly hair and overbite, and knew that he had to be made up of about 40 different kinds of average mutts from Jersey City. And you kow what? He's just as special as I am and our daddies love us both just the same, and I realized that's why I feel so special, not that I have a paper saying that I am, because I have a family and we're all so cool together!

Woofer's Thoughts:
Ladee, once again you were worrying me...I thought you were going to start some Exclusive doggy club that wouldn't let anyone in but your own kind! You do make a good point! We are both very special and whether someone has a special doggy of their own or chooses a special doggy to adopt, it's the family that matters and not the papers behind them (well unless you're being paper trained). I like that we are both so different and come from different backgrounds and we can still be a family and none of our friends seem to mind. I mean can you image if Uncle Rick & Uncle Brad only dressed their poodle Dylan in tutu's and wouldn't let him hang around us, but only other poodle kind?

Dylan's Comment:
I am NOT a poodle! Not that there's anything wrong with that. Ok, I'm part poodle sort of. I'm pretty sure I'm part Bichon and part Terrier. But, like you guys said -- it really doesn't matter what we are -- cause we're each unique and loved. And, as long as people treat us right, we accept and love all of them too.

Cleo's Comment:
I too like Ladee am a pedigree- 100% Italian Greyhound. My mommy sent away for the papers. I dont care too much about being a pedigree. My breeder sent me away to be sold at a pet store-Thank God my mommy saw me. I think that she may have saved my life- I wonder what other home I would have found, being that I was purchased at the Newport Mall. I might have been lunch for some PitBull being trained for street fights. My mommy thinks that the breeder got rid of me because my ears arent perfect, they tend to stand up all the time. I also have a black strip that runs down my back. Despite these things my Mommy and Daddy still love me and tell me that I am very cute and lovable.

My mommy tells me that the day she saw me was the day that she became friendly with Uncle Tony and that I helped to create a friendship bond that will last forever. I went on many walks with Ladee when we lived in Jersey City. We even went to the beach together. My Uncle Tony spoiled me when he owned the pet store. Then I met Woofer who is as cute as ever (even though he looks like the Wolfman). He was also abandoned by someone as the breeder abandoned me. I enjoy many different creatures- even Cats! In fact sometimes I think that I am a cat because I do a lot of things that my sister Pepper does. She was rescued from the streets and does not have any Pedigree papers. We love her just the same! It really doesn't matter what your bloodline is. We all eat, sleep, and poop (some of us more then others).
