So I'm a little conflicted this week. Poppa Greg bought me some new bouncy rubber balls, they are 2-tone colors instead of a solid color. But after I started playing with them, I noticed poppa Greg looking for my old ones. I of course hid them as quickly as I could, because I think I know what he had in mind. On June 7th, our daddies and some of their friends are going to have another garage sale and get rid of some of their old stuff again. I do agree that they have alot of stuff that they need to get rid of, but definitely not any of MINE! If they get rid of some of their old stuff, it will only make that much more room to get me more toys..I'll keep hiding all of my toys until after their sale is over.
You know Ladee, you don't even play with most of those toys anymore, and have forgotten about them. I know every now and again you'll go digging through your toy boxes to find something specific to remind you of when you were a pup...But face it, you are no pup anymore. I think it's a good idea to get rid of stuff that you really don't want or need anymore and our daddies can raise a little money and have some fun with friends while doing it. I know that this weekend there is a big yard sale at Hamilton Park that I was hoping poppa Greg and Uncle Rick would take me to, I really don't have alot of faith in them, but the weather people are saying it's going to be stormy all weekend. I hope it's not, so I can go with them to that huge yard sale. If it is tho I'll just be satisfied with pulling out a couple of your old things, Ladee, for them to discover and sale on the 7th.
I know everyone is going to think I'm flirting again, but I totally understand LaDee's point! If my Daddies decided they were going to put some of my things in the garage sale, I'd be looking for hiding places too. Each of those toys has a special meaning for me. There is the very first toy that my daddies bought for me when they rescued me. There's the one they bought for me when they went to Target and left me alone, and I was really upset. There's the toy they brought back for me from North Carolina. There is the bouncy ball that Uncle Tony brought from Florida. If there is a toy that I don't want any more, I will remove the stuffing! That's the signal! Woofer...let's say your daddy decided to take the chew bone you are playing with away from you and put it in the garage sale....I bet you would have something to say! | |||
