Keep in mind that on this date in the same year Poppa Greg was born, Elvis played live at Las Vegas, International Hotel - Showroom Internationale; and in the year Daddy Tony was born President Johnson issued a Statement Announcing the New Freedom Share Savings Notes. Just a couple things I thought you might want to know.

I noticed the last few days that there's not really anymore piled snow and very little ice left. Woofer can even make it outside without his sweater every now and then, so I guess that means Spring is coming. Now I can't believe that I'm the one that is going to bring this up, but since it is getting warmer, I really think it's time our daddies take me to get me groomed. I mean I have matts in my hair and the snow and ice has made me filthy from dragging my hair around. I know my hair can look pretty in dog shows when my kind run around the ring, but it's really not practical in everyday life, so I guess I'm ready for the trauma of Groomingdales. We might as well make Woofer join me, too, so we're in it together.

Woofer's Thoughts:
Yeah, uh, thanks Ladee but I really think this one you can do on your own. Poppas can just bathe me and I'll be fine, my hair doesn't grow like yours and there's no sense spending money to get me washed, a snip snip here and a little bandana. I'll suffer it out on the sofa while you do your thing. I bet Poppa Greg will be able to hear you growling next door to the pet shop at the groomers if Susan tries to touch your feet. You can be such a baby when it comes to these things, even if you are the one suggesting it! I'm always such a good boy there, that I probably should go just to show everyone how easy it is, but nah I won't!
