Ladee's yips:
It's been months since we've been on here. Our daddies have been so busy lately they haven't been able to help us with the computer as much. Well today we sat Poppa Greg down and said since this was such an important day, and weekend, that he had better help us, and of course he agreed (he really isn't as intimidating as alot of people seem to think).

Well, as of this morning, we are no longer bastards!! (I know I'm a girl--but you get the point)...Our daddies went to city hall and got a legal Domestic Partnership! It just became allowed in NJ this week (shame on NJ and the rest of the country for being so unjust to people for so long...and it continues (but I digress)). Not only do we wanna wish our Daddies all of the happiest for our recognized family, but we'd also like to wish the best to our daddies friends who have also taken this step. Poppa Tony even helped to join some of them by being their notary! Among these, is our pal Dylan's daddies, Rick & Brad...Isn't it cool Dylan that this happened? Anyway, I guess I'm carrying on far too long, so I'll let Woofer have a go on here, it's just been good to be able to express myself again...WOOF!!

Woofer's Thoughts:
Thanks LaDee, I know I am Ecstatic over it!! It really does mean alot (more than I think any of us realized that it would) to our entire family, our daddies, and their friends and families. I feel really special now! I heard our daddies talking about having a party of some kind near their 13th Anniversary in November, to celebrate their being together, both that long, and now officially. I bet alot of nice people will come!

Also worth mentioning is that this weekend, our Daddies have had Fetch-It reopened for a whole year now! They are having a really big sale, and our Uncles Rick & Brad (for real now!) are even going to go and help them some this weekend. It's really how cool how so much good is happening this weekend. I think to celebrate I may lay on our poppa's couch and nap contentedly. It was good talking to everyone again, after so long an absence!

Dylan's resnorts:
It's been so long since I've seen a Bark-Off that I forgot how to type! BUT, this is a great day for the Bark-Off to come back!!! I was SO happy when my Daddies told me they were making their union legal today! The only thing that could have made it better is if I could have gone with them!! I can tell already that my Daddies feel very good about being able legally define their committment to each other -- and to me! All us animals can see how much Uncle Tony and Greg and my daddies love each other -- but whatever steps they can take to have the same rights as Mommies and Daddies have is very important for us all. And, my Daddies were so excited to be able to share the experience with Uncles Tony and Greg. They will never ever forget this day. See you at Fetch-It this weekend! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Thanks Cindy for helping Otis reply to the BarkOff

Otis' Thoughts:
Hi Ladee, Woofer and Dylan! Tell your parents that I am very happy for their union! It's so great! I'm sorry I missed the Anniversary at Fetch-it. My Mommy went without me. But I was so excited when she brought home free toys and some greenies!! I couldn't wait to eat one of the greenies, so I riffled through the bag to get one! My sister Rhubarb loved her free toy too! The yellow feather on the stick looks fabulous when she wraps it around her neck like a boa!! You should see how cute she is. I do think however that pink is her color. Hey, maybe we could all get together at an outdoor cafe and have french fries soon! See Ya Later!

Thank you Barbara for helping Che'(pronounced Chay) from "Tampa. FL" submit her "resnorts".

Che's reply:
Hey, Gang!!!! What wonderful news about your daddies formalizing their relationship. I wish I had good news, but, alas, I am moving tomorrow. My mommy is packing up and moving in with her elderly mom over in Clearwater. Terry (my mommy) sold her condo, so it means I won't be around much any more. But, as sad as I am about leaving, I am thrilled about daddy Tony and daddy Greg's news. Love, Che'
