Ladee's Comments
I can remember last year when my daddy Greg packed up his suitcases 24 sundays in a row and left us for a week at a time. Since then he has been here almost all of the time, but I got really scared yesterday when I saw two bags packed and by the door. Our daddies picked them up and walked out, I barked after them but I'm not sure if they heard me because they didn't come right back. Instead I paced at the door for about 2 hours and finally daddy Greg came back in. I hope poppa Tony will be back soon, I always get so nervous when I see those bags because I know it means someone is leaving for awhile. I was so happy to see daddy Greg, I was jumping and barking, and he tried to reassure me that poppa Tony will be back in a few days and just had to go to Florida like me and daddy Greg did back in June. I don't know if most humans realize that we have the same feelings as they do, and sometimes even more because we are so dependent, but I'm glad that my daddies seem to and always reassure us whenever we are nervous or scared or anything. I sure hope other families do this, because even though I am still anxious, it makes me feel better.

Woofer's Thoughts
I don't get as scared as Ladee whenever one of our daddies go somewhere, but I still don't like it much either. It's not a good feeling to miss someone so much, but when they get back it's always the happiest thing. Ladee cracks me up because she is usually so low key, but then whenever they get home she jumps and yips really funny. (Not to mention the fact that she goes right to their bags and begs for presents that they always get us). I'm just happy that our daddies take good care of us. I know that they have to go places sometimes, but I know that they would never leave us for too long, and always make sure that we are taken care of! Like Ladee, I hope that all families do this for every member of their family, humans and pets alike!

Dylan's Comment:
Hey guys....at least you have each other to keep you company. I get left alone upstairs everyday when my daddies go to work.....I really don't like that much at all either. I've heard my daddies say "separation anxiety" a few times now, and I figure that has something to do with me. I hope they know it's because I love them and all I really want to do is play....it's boring playing by yourself! Actually, can you even call it playing if you're by yourself? I guess you probably can, cause once, when I was in the woods and nobody was around, a tree fell and the noise really scared me.
