Wow, what a day yesterday was. I knew it was that time of year that our daddies have a big dinner, with Turkey and all the Trimmings, because that neat parade was on, followed by the dog show (which I'm sure they won't let me go to, because all of the other doggies would get so depressed after seeing me). What I forgot was that Edith always comes to these dinners, and she loves to slip food under the table to me and Woofer...She gave us so much turkey, I was sooo happy, but I got tired soon afterwards and had to take a really long nap for some reason.
It was really nice of Edith to give us so many treats, but it was also nice to see Billy and RJ, when they came to dinner. We don't get to see them very much since RJ moved in with Billy, but they're very cool and pet us and hold us alot, it made it a really nice Thanksgiving. And you know what yesterday being Thanksgiving meant, Our daddies got up at 4:30 again to go shopping this morning. They did pretty well from the looks of all the bags and rebate forms that they brought in, I think Poppa Greg said that they had over $300 in rebates coming back to us, and that most of the stuff that they got turned out to be free! It also means that it's getting very close to Christmas, so we'll get more treats and toys soon, and I noticed that Poppa Greg started putting out some Christmas decorations today!
All I know is that I had to go out on my morning walk and it was still DARK out!!! I couldn't figure out why. Then, my daddies and aunt Liz left and came back a while later with lots of bags too! I'm pretty sure NONE of it was for me, because I think all my presents will come from FETCH-IT PET SUPPLIES in Jersey City, NJ. There's no reason to get up at 5 a.m. to go shopping for me, or Woofer or Ladee or any of the cats, because anything we want will be at FETCH-IT PET SUPPLIES which opens at noon on weekdays and 10 am on Saturdays!
