Ladee's yips:
First, I'll close out a couple of issues from weeks past. Grandpa's pug, Molly, besides being blind now, is otherwise healthy and learning to adjust better everyday, so that's good news! Also Daddy Greg finally wrote the Review of 2003, so if you haven't had a chance to check it out, make sure you do soon. And just a quick mention of, what the heck is going on...Zero degrees tonite? That's even getting a bit much for me with all of my hair! Now on to something that I really learned to love through Daddy Greg. This past week, he showed me some beautiful photographs taken on another planet. I personally would rather have seen them from Pluto (even though Daddy says this isn't really considered a planet anymore, I thought it was a fellow dog), but they are very neat even if they are from Mars. I know outer space fascinates me and the possibility of life out there (Which it would be very egocentric of us to think there wouldn't be) really excites me. I love watching the movie Contact with our daddies and if you haven't seen it I highly recommend it. I just can't wait to hear and see more about Mars now that we have a robot rover (another doggy reference) that is working there.

Woofer's Thoughts:
I think space is really neato too, Ladee. I hear today that Bush is jumping on the bandwagon, promising a manned station on the moon and future human visits to Mars. This is so cool to me, I can almost overlook that it's a political move for that weirdo (no offense to our brother-Weirdo...he's in a good way) that runs the country to get re-elected (although I certainly don't have enough time on daddy's computer to get that all discussed today), so I'll just say, if Bush does leave a legacy of a stronger space program in his tumultous wake, at least something he did will leave me excited and happy, for whatever reason he did it.
