Ladee's yips:
Wow, it's been so cold here for so long now, the Hudson river is frozen in lots of places. Our daddies say it's really hard to drive because they slip around all over on the icy roads (not to mention how we slide on the sidewalks and stuff), what I think is amazing is how many people out there are taking stupid chances with it. I know it's hard for our feet to be stable on the sidewalk, but alot of people walk in the road now so they don't slip. That might be fine for them, but what if they do slip on black ice and fall in front of a car, or even worse what if a car slips and runs into them. Poppa Greg says his car slips everytime he drives almost, so what if there were people walking beside it? Even worse, groups of people stand out in the roads waiting for busses, or other unknown reasons. Someone could take out a whole lot of people at once.

Woofer's Thoughts:
That is a good point Ladee, and like usual I have a good addition. I remember a couple of years ago how we said stupid people push their baby carriages out into the intersection into traffic so that they can cross, well now these people are still doing it, but with all the ice, cars aren't able to stop like they can in the summer (not that people should do this at any time--morons)...Fine if you want to risk your own life, but don't risk your kids as well (or even worse--your doggies!). Anyway I wish people had the sense that we had, it would make everything alot easier. Although it may give Poppa Greg a plausible excuse to wipe out some of those punk high school people that dart out in front of cars anyway.

Thanks Coco from Jersey City for your reply
Coco coos:
Hey, my mother had to walk in the street with my stroller because no one shoveled the damn ice-covered sidewalk and she had to give Uncle Greg his presents, so stop complaining!

Dylan's resnorts:
Wow. My daddies almost didn't let me write this week because of all the swearing and name calling! :-) I think the solution is pretty easy....everyone needs to make sure they clean their sidewalks. My daddy read that the city is fining people who don't keep their sidewalk clear so maybe that will help. I think the city should fine people even when their isn't snow if they don't keep their sidewalks clean. It would make it nicer to take our walks -- and the city would probably make more money and then my daddies, and Ladee and Woofer's daddies wouldn't have to pay so much taxes to live here.
