So I guess I have to harp on this a little bit since it was on the very popular show that daddy Greg watches all of the time and now it's on the news alot up here and getting way too much attention. The people that run the Christopher Columbus parade are upset because the mayor invited some of the Sopranos figures to march. Now alot of people are getting mad because they are going to, and don't show a good image of italian americans...But we know an italian greyhound that loves the show!! Alot of the time i see other dogs that aren't portrayed very well, or even just different than I am on TV and I don't get mad about it. Everyone is different and it seems to me that if 11 million people are watching a show on a channel they have to pay for, then maybe it's not offensive to everyone and maybe people should just realize that you shouldn't be so sensitive over entertainment and why should you be insulted unless it's directly about you!
Sometimes on TV I see pictures of Pit Bulls that attack people and other animals, but I've made some good friends even in NJ where Sopranos takes place, that are pit bulls and the nicest dogs I've ever met...I agree with Ladee, some people have way too much time on their hands and need to work on themselves rather than worry about everything else! They should worry about other things and not about a TV show on a pay channel and movie stars marching in a parade...I would never mind it if I could see Lassie marching in a parade around here! Trust me!! If you disagree just don't participate or watch it because a lot of other people enjoy it and it doesn't hurt anyone. Thank you Rick for helping Dylan from "Jersey City, NJ" submit his "rebarks".
First of all, I hate TV! It practically makes it impossible to play with my daddies when they are watching it. I don't understand why they can't just toss my toys all night long instead of staring at that huge thing in the corner that just takes up play space! Anyway, I know I'm repeating myself, but how come humans can't get along with each other. I know Ladee and I sometimes bark at some of our other dog friends, but usually once we meet and sniff butts, everything is fine! The other thing I think I've noticed is that all that stuff on those TV programs is make believe, right?? Do humans think those people are real?
Thank you Barbara A. for helping Chay from "Tampa, FL" submit a reply. Hi, Woofer, Ladee and yes, you too, Dylan. I just wanted to let you know how excited I was to FINALLY get to meet one of Woofer and Ladee's daddies - TONY!!!!! He was everything that I had heard he was. He came down and surprised me a little....I was expecting my mom, Terry, or her friend, Barbara. But, I fell in love with Tony right away! He made me feel so comfortable right away!!! We went for a walk and it was just wonderful. I just wanted to thank you all, including your other daddy, Greg, for letting him come down and wind up spending some time with me. I feel so honored. I hope that I get to meet all of you some day! But for now, I will continue to look at the pictures on your website, and read your comments in the Bark Off. Take care. Your new friend, Chay.
P.S. The way you really spell my name is Che with a funny little mark
after it, but my friend Barbara doesn't know how to make that little
mark, so she is spelling it phonetically.
