Since it's friday the 13th. I thought I would get in the spirit and talk about superstitions. The funniest one is when I've heard people talk about when a black cat walks in front of you, how you should get bad luck. Well I have 2 siblings that are black cats and I only have the best of luck. I have a nice home and alot of love given to me, and these cats are constantly walking in front of me, In fact alot of the times they jump over my head. Of course I guess before I went to the groomers last week, I did see Wink walk near me, so maybe he brought me the bad luck of having to go to the groomers? Nah, I have to say it was just a coincidence. I've never broken any mirrors yet, but I've walked under plenty of ladders and spilled a salt shaker even once, but my life seems to only get better. I get alot of toys from my daddies and they always play with me and introduce me to good friends. So I guess I don't know about anyone else, but I think I have this Friday the 13th thing all licked, and I'm not worried a bit! If anyone else has any concerns about it feel free to let me know, but otherwise I think I'll curl up on the couch for a Jason Vorhees Fest with daddy Greg tomorrow and hope I can slurp a bit of his drink when he's not looking!
I think that Ladee takes everything a little too easy. I make sure that I never ever step on a crack outside when we go for our walks. I would never want to break one of my daddy's backs! I know my daddies think that I walk way too slow outside, but I am only protecting their health. I never walk under anything especially a ladder, and I usually stay pretty far away from Wink & Weird-o just in case black cats are bad luck. Those movies that Ladee and daddy Greg like watching just scare me too bad, so I think I will burrow under the covers with my daddy Tony and try not to get scared. Daddy Greg always tries to scare all of us when movies are on, and daddy Tony gets all mad because he does get scared, Ladee and daddy Greg laugh, but I have to agree that it's not funny, so I just dig down farther and snuggle up for protection. Ladee better be careful tomorrow, because it's been a long time since the last Friday the 13th, and I think her luck may be running out, she could end up locking herself in the laundry room or getting dyed a different color from a hair-dye accident. I mean if she needs any more proof just look at the supposed history of the superstition of the day:

Go ahead, Ladee. Try it. I've watched my daddy Brad scare the bejeesus out of my Daddy Rick and it's not going to work on me! Did anyone realize how smart Woofer was?? I sure didn't. He's one of those real quiet types who barely says anything and then one day he pops up with all these cool facts. Reminds me of a human I know...... | |||
