It seems like there are so many bad and hard things going on in our daddies lives and on the news that this week I'm going to try to keep it light a little bit. I noticed lately that when we go out and walk, it doesn't smell quite as bad on the streets and I don't get so sweaty when we are walking now. It seems like about a year ago this happened, and it's just fine with me. i like it when it starts getting cooler and the leaves start turning pretty colors. I think I heard daddy Greg say that after sunday it will be fall. This must mean I already got my last haircut for the year (YEA!!) and soon I'll be able to curl up by the fireplace after it's really cold outside. I love this time of year...I know our daddies get to decorate for alot of different people holidays and have a lot of people come over soon. I hope everyone gets as happy as our daddies do when it starts getting cooler outside, and I really hope that soon after fall starts we finally get a real winter, and I can play in the snow!!
Well this week I do have to say that I can both agree with Ladee and disagree. I definitely agree with her that when it feels better outside, we all get in better moods, and the city smells get much better with fresher and cooler air. I also get to wear alot of my clothes which I can never wear in the summer. I have alot of T-Shirts, sweaters and jackets, and I've already gotten to wear a few in the last couple of weeks - and that is really cool, because my daddies always buy me the latest styles. I also love getting warm under the covers or by the fire after we've been outside, but sometimes it gets really too cold for me. Ladee's hair always grows really long but mine stays pretty short. This makes it hard for me to play outside (especially in the snow) for very long. The ice and snow starts hurting my feet, and I feel really bad but I usually have to get my daddies to pick me up and carry me. I think this winter might be better though, because I'm thinking that Ladee's boyfriend, Dylan, might like to play in the snow with her, and I can just stay inside and keep warm! Thank you Rick for helping Dylan from "Jersey City, NJ" submit his "rebarks".
Isn't it great how Ladee and Woofer can talk about their opinions and thoughts. Sometimes they agree, and sometimes they disagree, but they always respect each other's opinions. I think that's great. What if Ladee told Woofer that his opinion was wrong because it didn't agree with hers? Wouldn't that be rude? Just a thought.
Woofer & Ladee's Comment: We agree Dylan, everyone's opinion is valuable and we think it makes you see all sides of the story if you take the time and listen, instead of only focusing on your agenda, We like to learn new tricks from each other and the other animals in our building, and even if they aren't tricks that we would ever do ourselves, we value them! | |||
